Course Description

LA, O1 - O5 + O8, LA, S1-S5 + S7 - 5 Day Course (8:30 - 16:00) Nationally recognised qualification, the NRSWA course (new roads and streetworks act). This is a full 5-day streetworks course. You will be trained how to use the Cat and Genny, Temporary Traffic Lights, Safe Excavation, Reinstatement of material for the finefill, backfill, sub-base and base layers. Reinstatement of cold lay tarmac, concrete footways, block paving and concrete slabs. Documents and specifications that will be used are: HSG 47 (Avoiding danger from underground services) NJUG (National joint utilities group) The Red Book (Safety at Street Works and Road Works 2013 – Code of Practice) The Pink Book (An Introduction to the Use of Portable Vehicular Signals) HAUC spec (Specification for the Reinstatement of Openings in Highways – Fourth Edition May 2020)
